Covid-19 testing to protect workforce as they return to the office
Clowes developments introduces Covid-19 testing to protect its workforce as they return to the office
The group have purchased large quantities of Covid-19 lateral flow tests for employees to self-test twice a week. Employees are invited to take a 30-minute test at home and report their results to the office manager once completed.
By encouraging staff to regularly take lateral flow tests, Clowes has been able to safely increase the number of employees working together in its rural head office in Ednaston near Ashbourne. Being a property-centric business, many of the team also visit construction sites where following stringent Covid-19 protocols are essential to keep the workforce safe and sites operational. Having regular testing in place is further reducing the risk of spreading the disease.
Sarah Purvey, Office Manager at Clowes Developments commented,
Ensuring that Covid-19 lateral flow tests are available to all our employees seems to be the safest and most viable way to support and protect our staff as we begin our return to the office.
Many of our team are keen to return to the office environment with a more ‘hybrid working’ approach, allowing staff to adopt a balance of office, home and site going forward. It’s lovely to see colleagues back at Ednaston Park.
