Clowes Developments Sponsor Women’s Cricket at Duffield CC
Duffield Cricket Club is proud to announce that it has agreed a deal with Clowes Developments to become the club’s first ever sponsor of Womens Cricket.
The deal will see the Clowes name on all shirts worn by the women and girls teams. 2023 saw Duffield Cricket Club produce a women’s long format hardball for the first time team since 1935 ! The women’s 1st XI was born out of the success of Super 8’s competition in the 2022 East Midlands Women’s Cricket League in which the Duffield squad won all their games and finished top of the league.
Duffield CC Club Chairman John Fearnehough confirmed the deal saying;
“Cricket for girls and women has become a massive and vibrant part of our club, and it’s great that a large local company like Clowes recognise this and want to support us”.
