Clowes Developments agree second property deal with Staton Young

Earlier in 2020, Clowes Developments sold 4 Victoria Street, the former Post Office building for an undisclosed sum to Staton Young and on the 1st October completed its second sale to Staton Young at number 10 The Wardwick.

Staton Young, a rapidly growing Derby based company, offer quality serviced office facilities at affordable and competitive prices.

We are very pleased to have secured the purchase of this building and are of course delighted to be once again, investing in Derby.

Both of the commercial properties are located close to the new multi-million pound Becketwell regeneration scheme which will see a previously run down part of the town centre redeveloped to include a mix of homes, workspace, hotel, retail and leisure uses, in addition to a new public square for the city. Staton Young also own ‘Cubo’ on Victoria street – a luxury co-working space and private office building which opened in February.

Clowes Developments own many other properties in and around the wider Cathedral Quarter area, including St James Street, the Island, Sadler Gate, The Strand and The Strand Arcade, all located within minutes of the Becketwell scheme. Interested parties are invited to speak to Clowes Developments directly regarding opportunities for sale or lease on residential or commercial properties.
