Clowes welcomes Screwfix to Crown Park

The brand-new trade counter operator will be a welcomed addition to the existing 680+ Screwfix stores located across the UK. The new unit will mark the fourth Screwfix store in Derby with a strategic spread of outlets across the city to effectively deliver convenience for their customers.  

Screwfix will be undertaking a fitout of the 5,059sq ft unit over the coming weeks with the aim of opening once government COVID-19 guidelines allow them to do so safely.  

Clowes’ ability to successfully negotiate and close deals during an economically difficult time is significant. Hannah Bailey, Senior Surveyor from Clowes Developments commented: 

We are delighted to welcome Screwfix to our newly completed development at Crown Park. Securing a deal with a retailer of this scale demonstrates the Group’s eye for identifying commercially viable spaces for businesses to make their own. Units ranging from 5,102sq ft up to 17,954sq ft remain available at the site, however we continue to see a significant amount of interest from both leaseholders and freeholders.
