Castlewood Court units are being built at a super speed!

Only last month, Clowes Developments announced news of further planning consent to expand their class leading Castlewood Business Park at Sutton in Ashfield in Nottinghamshire.

Within just weeks of this announcement, there is impressive progress being made at Castlewood Court. Roe Developments, the lead contractor for this project are on site and operating at pace.

Nick Nuttall, Site Manager, Roe Developments commented:

We have been working with Clowes’ Development team for a long time. We know how they like to work, and we know what is expected of us, so, we deliver. We are in a fortunate position that our sub-contractors are eager to work and crack on with projects we put in front of them, hence why the development is progressing at a mega rate.

The site comprises of a dedicated service road feeding three units. Two of the units specify an 8m high single storey warehouse facility, with two storey offices and one unit offers an 8m high single storey warehouse facility with scope for fit out. All units include concrete service yards, car parking and landscaping.

The frame and netting are already in place on the first building – a 24,842sq ft unit located towards the far end of the plot which has already been pre-let to CST Industries. The erection of cladding is due to start imminently on this unit.

The structural frame is partly in place at the largest building, a 31,396sq ft unit which is currently under offer to a potential occupier.

And finally ground works have started for the third and final 12,484sq ft unit which remains available for speculative enquiries.

The construction of all three units will see Plot 11 also known as Castlewood Court built out in its entirety. It is expected to be completed by approximately February 2021. Current occupiers at the wider Castlewood Business Park include Alloga, Bombardier, Co-Op, Middle Brook Transport and Parker Knoll.

Castlewood Business Park is located at the very heart of the country, next to junction 28 of the M1 motorway and provides excellent access to the whole of the UK. It is adjacent to East Midlands Designer Outlet Village and is less than ten miles from Mansfield.
