Tom Collins

Tom is a Chartered Town Planner with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Planning and a Master’s degree in Town Planning, both from Newcastle University.

He began his career as a planning consultant, advising on a wide range of development projects across multiple sectors. He later moved into the land promotion sector, where he further developed his expertise before joining Clowes Developments in March 2026. This breadth of experience gives Tom a well-rounded and commercially focused understanding of the planning system. He has particular expertise in strategic land promotion, guiding sites through the planning process to unlock long-term development potential.

Based in Nottingham, Tom lives with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking and cycling, and previously enjoyed an annual ski trip; something he now looks forward to sharing with his children when they are old enough to hit the slopes.
