Kate Henderson

Kate Henderson, Head of Marketing at Clowes Developments joined the Group in June 2020. Kate moved into the property sector with transferable skills gained at regional and national corporate law firms.

A natural self-starter, Kate took a late career turn and began her marketing pathway as an assistant at Geldards LLP, she specialised in design and brand for a short while before moving on to a multi-discipline marketing manager role for a regional law firm, building a marketing department from scratch.

During the turbulent times of the Covid pandemic, an opportunity arose to take a step into the property sector. Whilst everyone else was battening down the hatches, Clowes were strengthening and expanding which Kate capitalised on and seized the opportunity to develop an in-house marketing department for the growing Group.

Kate became Head of Marketing in 2023 and is now supported by a marketing assistant and admin support. The small but perfectly formed team are tasked with marketing the Group’s vast portfolio of projects up and down the UK applying a multi-discipline marketing strategy.

As Kate utilises her experience and expertise to take a more strategic role within the Group, she has begun working with Directors, James Richards and Thomas Clowes to deliver the Group’s ESG strategy. An opportunity to shape the path to a more sustainable business model in an ever-evolving industry.

Kate was born and raised in Derby where she remains firmly rooted. She has an excitable Labrador called Sol and is a keen photographer.
