Ben Smyth

Ben joined Clowes Developments in July 2025 as part of his Real Estate degree at Sheffield Hallam University. Throughout his 13-month placement, Ben will work across the Land and Planning, Development, and Asset Management teams, gaining valuable insight into the full lifecycle of property development.

This industry-led placement provides Ben with a unique opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills acquired at university in a practical, fast-paced environment. His time with the Group will help lay strong foundations for his future career in real estate.

Upon completing his placement, Ben will return to Sheffield Hallam University to finish his degree and aims to pursue the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) while continuing to build experience in the property sector.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys playing a variety of sports, including golf, football, and cricket.
