Dove Valley Park is a major 200 acre industrial/distribution development opportunity at the centre of one of the UK’s most important manufacturing areas.

Current occupiers on site include JCB, Kuehne and Nagel, Muller, Futaba and Top Hat with other major companies in the surrounding area including Toyota, Rolls Royce, JCB, Nestle, Marstons and Molson Coors.

Additionally, MEG Group have announced plans for a huge bottling plant in Foston to serve supermarket giant Lidl have been confirmed. Hailed as the “largest single investment in South Derbyshire since Toyota” the 50,000sq m water processing, bottling and distribution site is reportedly set to create hundreds of jobs, and an anticipated investment in excess of £50 million.

Dove Valley Park has planning consent for up to 2.3million sq ft with infrastructure and services in place and has historically had good support from the Local Authority.

The site offers excellent logistical flexibility via the A50, M1, M6 and A38 with the main towns and cities of Derby, Nottingham, Stoke, Leicester, Burton and Birmingham within easy reach. 48 million people can be access within a 4 hour drive.

The extra 35.29 acre site developed to create circa 54,500m2 of employment space for B2, B8, with ancillary E(g) use. Four units of varying sizes will be created to meet market demand for quality industrial space, along with the necessary associated hard and soft landscaping, car parking and infrastructure.

In addition, a new Innovation Centre will be created that will serve as a central hub for all businesses in the local vicinity. The aim is to draw people together and provide spaces for gatherings, along with informal meeting space and access to external areas. The Innovation Centre will also serve as a space for start-up businesses to begin and has been developed in consultation with The University of Derby.
