Overview

A joint venture between Clowes and national housebuilders Miller and Redrow Homes that saw various strategic land holdings in Castle Donington pooled, with outline planning granted in 2013 for 895 houses, 6 acres of employment uses, a primary school and a public house, along with all associated green infrastructure and public open space.

Critically this development allowed for the construction of the new Castle Donington Relief Road, a 2.4km stretch of road that aims to alleviate the heavy traffic that the village experiences, as well as assisting commuters to the area’s increasing number of business and logistics parks.

Construction of Relief Road

Miller and Redrow homes have commenced works on the residential areas of the site, with the first occupiers already moving in.

Clowes Developments (UK) Ltd are developing a range of BREEAM ‘very good’ industrial and distribution units at Stud Brook Business Park. The units will range in size from 8,500 to 30,000 sq ft (790 – 2,800 sq m) and will be ready for occupation from Q2 2024.
