New arrival due at Corby business park

Centrix Business Park in Corby is set to welcome a new addition in the shape of a brand new multi-million pound combined production and office unit totaling 165,000 sq ft.

The commercial park sits on the edge of Corby close to the main A63 and A6003 through routes.

Clowes Developments has continued its investment in the business park that is already home to names like Crown Paints and Rexel.

Benefiting from high quality new build specification and excellent road links, the new unit sits on its own 8 acre plot and features 2 storeys of office space totaling 7,500 sq ft, 18 loading doors and is rated BREEAM ‘Good’ and EPC ‘A’.

There is also EV charging available in the car park as well as room for up to 129 vehicles.

The unit has a projected build time of 12 months from commencement to hand over.

James Richards, development director at Clowes Developments, said:

This is a significant multi-million pound investment in a large production unit capable of creating and sustaining hundreds of jobs.

“Working with our architects we have brought forward a future-proof design with a number of sustainable features like EV charging points and an office façade with solar shading. With well developed landscaping around the unit, the building will make a positive contribution to Corby’s commercial offer.

“Despite the current economic circumstances we have seen an upturn in positive enquiries across our portfolio, including here in Corby which remains an excellent location in the heart of the country with quick links to the Midlands, the south and the East Coast ports in Suffolk and Essex as well as East Midlands and Stansted airports.

“Just 70 miles from London and with a rapidly growing workforce, Corby is an excellent location for the full spectrum of commercial production and distribution activity.”
